- 1/2 cups Butter
- 2 cups Sugar
- Salt
- 1/2 cups Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 cups Oats
- 1 cup Coconut (optional)
- 1 cup Pecans (optional)
Directions

1Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Then add sugar, salt, cocoa, milk and vanilla. Increase heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, boiling for 1 minute. Then remove from heat.

2Stir into a heatproof mixing bowl with the oats (and coconut and pecans if desired.) Mix thoroughly; drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.

3Let cool completely prior to packaging.
