- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients.

3Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan which has been lined with waxed paper.

4Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

5Cool cake completely and remove from pan.

6Slice cake in 1/2 lengthwise.
