  • 2 cakes or pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 c. scalded milk, cooled
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Proof yeast in warm water. Mix all dry ingredients and all liquid ingredients. Combine and stir with a spoon until combined. Let rise about an hour. Roll and cut. Dip in butter. Let rise. Bake at 400° until done, about 10 to 15 minutes.
