- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Fold in flour alternately with milk.

4Add salt, lemon and vanilla.

5Bake in 2 greased and floured cake pans at 350° for 25 or 30 minutes.
