- 1/ 2 cup water or milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter

- 1 pound frozen or fresh blueberries (about 3 cups)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- pinch of salt
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- (yields 2 cups)
Directions

1In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt the chocolate chips and sugar in the water or milk, stirring with a whisk until smooth and shiny.

2Whisk in the vanilla and peanut butter.

3In a saucepan on medium heat, bring the blueberries, sugar, salt, and a tablespoon of water to a simmer, stirring often, until the mixture is juicy.

4Cook for a few minutes, until the blueberries are soft.

5In a blender or food processor, whirl the blueberries with the lemon juice until smooth.

6Add additional sugar to taste.

7Add more water if you want a thinner sauce.
