- 5 apples (1-1/2 lb./675 g), washed, well dried Safeway 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 1 pkg. (340 g) Kraft Caramels
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Insert wooden pop stick into stem end of each apple.

2Cover large plate with waxed paper; grease paper with butter.

3Cook caramels and water in large saucepan on medium-low heat until caramels are completely melted, stirring constantly.

4Dip apples in caramel; spoon additional caramel over apples if necessary to evenly coat apples.

5Let excess caramel drip off.

6Scrape bottoms of apples; place on prepared plate.

7Refrigerate 1 hour.
