- 1 (16 oz.) can cling peach halves
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
- 4 maraschino cherries, halved
- upside-down cake batter
Directions

1Drain peaches; reserve 1/3 cup liquid.

2Melt margarine in a 9-inch round cake pan.

3Stir in brown sugar and water.

4Arrange peaches and cherries in pan.

5Spoon upside-down cake batter over peaches.

6Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.

7Cool on wire rack 5 minutes. Loosen sides; invert onto plate.
