Upside Down Pumpkin Pie

  • 1 large can pumpkin (2 c.)
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. melted butter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°; grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with deep sides. Mix pumpkin, milk, sugar, eggs and spices very well and pour into pan.

    Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pumpkin mix.

    Sprinkle nuts over the cake mix.

    Pour or drizzle the butter over the top. Bake for 1 hour.
