Upside-Down Pumpkin Pie Cake

- 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except cake mix, nuts and butter.

2Mix well.

3Pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

4Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin.

5Sprinkle nuts over the top evenly.

6Drizzle butter over top.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8If not done at the end of an hour, turn off oven and let stand 10 minutes.

9Serve with whipped cream.
