- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. vanilla-butternut flavoring
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar on High speed of mixer for 5 minutes.

2Add eggs, one at a time; beating well.

3Add 1 cup flour; beat at slower speed for 1 minute.

4Add remaining flour and milk alternately, beating until well mixed.

5Add flavoring.

6Pour into three (9-inch) pans.

7Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
