  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 slightly beaten eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (9-inch) baked pastry shell

    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and thickens.
