Vanilla Cream Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. milk
  • 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. oleo

Directions

    Add sugar and salt to flour. Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

    Add small amounts of cooked mixture to eggs. Stir egg mixture into remaining cooked mixture. Return to heat and bring to a boil.

    Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and oleo.

    Let cool.
