- 1 vanilla bean
- 1/4 c. plus 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 2/3 sticks cold, unsalted butter
- 3/4 c. confectioners sugar (approximately)
Directions

1Combine the flour, sugar and almonds in a food processor.

2Cut in the butter.

3Turn the mixture onto a pastry board and quickly knead into a smooth ball.
