- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. half and half
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
- additional 2 c. half and half
Directions

1In a double boiler, combine sugar, flour and salt.

2Stir in 2 cups half and half.

3Stir-cook over moderate heat until thickened. Cook 2 minutes more.

4Stir small amount of hot mixture into eggs; return this mixture to boiler.

5Cook 1 minute more.

6Remove from heat.

7Add vanilla and additional half and half.

8Chill and freeze.

9Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
