- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 tsp. unflavored gelatin
- 8 c. half and half
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine 1/2 cup sugar and gelatin, stir and add remaining sugar and 1/2 the cream.

2Heat until dissolved.

3Slowly blend in egg. Cook and stir until thickened, about 1 minute.

4Strain.

5Chill. Add remaining cream and vanilla.

6Churn in ice cream freezer.
