- 3 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 c. cream (heavy or light)
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Set aside.

3In large bowl mix flour, sugar and salt.

4Add eggs and beat until blended.

5Slowly add scalded milk while beating.

6Put in top of double boiler and cook over boiling water, beating constantly.

7Cook until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat and cool.

8Add vanilla and cream.
-
9Pour mixture into freezer container, filling not more than 3/4 full.

10Freeze according to ice cream freezer instructions.

11Yields about 2 quarts.
