  • 2 c. milk, scalded
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla or rum flavoring

    Scald milk with sugar and salt.

    In bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water.

    Add to scalded milk until slightly thickened.
