- 1 pkg. Knox gelatine
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 eggs, divided
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 lb. vanilla wafers
Directions

1Soak gelatine in 1/2 cup cold water; add to beaten egg yolks and sugar.

2Cook in double boiler until thick and smooth; cool. Add pineapple and nuts.

3Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

4Crush wafers with rolling pin.

5Place a layer of crumbs in a well-greased loaf pan.

6Pour over a layer of filling.

7Repeat, making 5 layers.

8Let stand overnight in refrigerator.

9Serves 12.
