- 1 3/4 lb. veal cutlets
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. tomato catsup
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 bunch small carrots, peeled
- 1 c. hot water
Directions

1Cut veal into serving pieces and brown in shortening.

2When they are half browned, add salt and onions; finish browning.

3Add carrots, green pepper, catsup and water.

4Cover and cook slowly for 45 minutes.

5Thicken gravy if necessary.
