Veal Paprikas

- 2 lb. veal (stewing is best and cheapest)
- 2 onions
- 2 tsp. paprika pepper
- 1 or 2 small tomatoes or tomato puree
- salt
- 2 Tbsp. fat
Directions

1Wash the meat and cut it into large squares.

2Put in pan two tablespoons of fat and heat.

3Dice the onions finely and dip into fat, stirring until soft.

4Now add two teaspoons of red paprika pepper and stir once.

5Salt.

6Put in the meat, together with the fresh tomatoes (or one or two teaspoons of puree if fresh tomatoes are not available).

7Add a little water, barely covering the meat and stew under lid, stirring from time to time.

8If necessary, add a small amount of water again until meat is tender.

9Cream may be used before serving, according to taste.

10May use turkey slices, uncooked.
