  • 1 lb. lean stewing beef
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • 3 c. water
  • 3 tsp. instant beef bouillon
  • 16 or 20 oz. bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

    Cut beef in small pieces; brown well in shortening.
