- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 6 cups water
- 12 onion, chopped
- 34 cup celery, chopped
- 34 cup carrot, chopped
- 34 cup butter
- 34 cup flour
- 2 cups medium cheddar, grated
Directions

1Dissolve chicken bouillon cubes in 6 cups of water.

2Bring to a boil in large sauce pan.

3Add onion, celery, and carrots to chicken broth.

4Simmer until tender.

5About 15 minutes.

6While veggies are simmering,melt butter on low to medium heat and add flour blending to a roux.

7Remove from heat.

8When vegetables are tender add the roux and blend well.

9Add the cheese, stirring to melt.

10Cook over medium heat until thickened.
