- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. diced potatoes (unpeeled)
- 1 c. water or stock
- 1/8 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. corn kernels
- 1 c. green beans, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Cook onion, celery and green pepper in butter or margarine for 5 minutes.

2Add potatoes, water or stock and seasonings.

3Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.

4Add corn and beans.

5Cover and simmer 10 minutes longer or until beans are tender.

6Mix flour with small amount of milk; add to remaining milk.

7Stir into cooked vegetable mixture.

8Cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
