- 1 pkg. carrots, cut in 2-inch strips, parboil about 8 minutes
- 2 c. celery, cut in 2-inch strips
- 2 green peppers, cut in strips
- 1 can whole onions
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca, sprinkle over top
- 2 Tbsp. sugar, sprinkle over top
- 1 tsp. sage, sprinkle over top
- 1 large can whole tomatoes, pour over all
- 1 stick butter or oleo, cut up, lay over top

1Bake at 300° for 2 1/2 hours.
