  • 1 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, cut up fine
  • 7 or 8 cut up Irish potatoes
  • clove of garlic, cut up or use flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 bags gumbo vegetables
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • water to cover

    Let meat and seasonings cook until tender, then add the remaining ingredients.
