- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 carrots, sliced thin
- 1 pkg. frozen peas
- salt to taste
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 3 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 Tbsp. water
- pepper to taste
- 3 medium zucchini, sliced 1-inch thick
Directions

1Melt margarine in heavy skillet; set aside.

2Layer vegetables in skillet:

3carrots, onion, celery, zucchini and green peas.

4Top off with cabbage; season and dot with butter.

5Cover tightly with lid; bring to boil.

6Let simmer for 6 to 8 minutes, until vegetables are done.

7Best when the vegetables are still slightly crisp.
