  • 2 c. celery
  • 2 c. carrots
  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. green peppers
  • 2 c. canned tomatoes with juice
  • 1 pkg. frozen green beans *
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar **
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca

Directions

    Cut celery, carrots, green peppers and onions into 1 to 2-inch chunks.

    Combine with tomatoes with juice and the green beans. Place in a lightly greased casserole dish.

    Combine salt, sugar, tapioca and butter and top vegetables with this combination. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.

    Lower heat to 325° and continue baking for 1 more hour.
