Ingredients
- 1 lb. stew meat or steak, cubed
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 3 large carrots, diced
- 2 pkg. frozen onions
- 6 stalks celery, diced
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- 1 can lima beans
- 1 can sweet peas
- 1 can cut green beans
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1/2 c. barley or rice
- 1 c. noodles
- 1 Tbsp. marjoram
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Directions

1Cut up and cook meat with 3 quarts of water and salt for 1 hour.

2Add onions, potatoes, carrots, and celery and cook 20 minutes.

3Add all other ingredients and simmer 1 hour.

4Makes 7 quarts.
