- 3 to 4 soup bones or 4 ribs (fat trimmed)
- 1 large chopped onion
- 4 stalks chopped celery
- 3 diced potatoes
- 2 cans chopped tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- 1 to 2 boxes thawed mixed vegetables
- 1/2 c. extra corn
- 1 c. extra lima beans
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 4 chopped carrots
- 1 small head cabbage (optional)
Directions

1Cover soup bones and meat with water.

2Add celery and onions and carrots.

3Boil about 1 hour.

4Add remaining ingredients. Return to a boil then simmer until potatoes are done, 15 to 20 minutes.
