  • beef soup bone (marrow)
  • 1 pot herb
  • 2 qt. cold water
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1/4 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1/4 c. barley or rice
  • 5 or 6 carrots, grated
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
  • 1 c. grated potato
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery

Directions

    Cook bone, pot herb, water, onion and salt slowly for 2 hours. Add vegetables and continue cooking
