Ingredients

  • 4 lb. hamburger
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 4 medium potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large can V-8 juice
  • 6 ripe tomatoes or 2 cans tomatoes
  • 2 c. fresh corn or 1 can Green Giant
  • 4 c. cabbage, chopped
  • 1 can French-style green beans
  • 1 can mixed vegetables or frozen vegetables
  • 4 medium carrots, chopped
  • 6 pieces celery, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 or 3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Brown meat, onions and peppers, then add ingredients, potatoes, etc.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Add water as desired.

    Makes 8 to 10 quarts.
