  • 1/2 lb. beef stew meat, cut up
  • 6 c. water or more
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 2 cubes beef bouillon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. finely cut carrots
  • 1/2 tsp. bay leaf powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
  • 1 c. chopped cabbage
  • 2 handfuls noodles or 1/4 c. barley cereal

Directions
