Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 3 large potatoes
  • 2 (14.5 oz.) cans Hunt's whole tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Hunt's tomato sauce
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 10 c. water
  • 1 lb. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garden mint
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 3/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni

Directions

    Put beef in large soup pot.

    Cook meat (do not brown) until grey.

    Stir to break up meat into small pieces.

    Combine onions, tomatoes, juice from tomatoes, tomato sauce, potatoes and frozen mixed veggies.

    Add garlic powder, salt and chili powder, mint, black pepper, parsley flakes, water and cooked macaroni.

    Bring to boil then simmer and cook approximately 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
