- 1 c. carrots, cubed
- 1/2 c. onion, sliced and sauteed
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 c. diced potatoes, scrubbed
- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. fresh frozen peas
- 2 Tbsp. tomato puree
- 1/4 c. parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp. tarragon (dried)
- 1 tsp. oregano (dried)
- 1 tsp. sweet basil (dried)
- 1 tsp. savory (dried)
Directions

1Steam first 6 ingredients in as little water as possible until carrots and potatoes are tender.

2Near the end of cooking, add peas, tomato puree and parsley.

3Steam just until peas are tender, about 3 minutes.

4Let stand, covered, a few minutes before serving.
