- 1 c. pinto, black-eyed peas or lentils
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 to 1 c. cracker meal
- 1/4 c. onion
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or garlic
- 1 tsp. cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt (optional)
Directions

1Saute onion with garlic for 1 minute; set aside.

2In a separate bowl, mash beans.

3Add cracker meal (enough to make a ball).

4Add cider vinegar, egg white, onion and garlic.

5Grill or bake for 2 1/2 minutes on each side.
