  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 12 cup celery, diced
  • 12 cup carrot, diced
  • 14 cup onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 14 cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, cubed

    Dice vegetables very small.

    Place water, potatoes, celery, carrots, onion, salt and pepper in 5 qt sauce pan.

    Cover and simmer 10-15 minutes .

    Mix butter, flour, milk and cheese to make sauce.

    Add cheese sauce to chowder and heat.
