  • 1/2 stick butter, salted
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced small
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons tomato paste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small package sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen sweat peas
  • 1 bag

Directions

    Bake the Green Giant(R) Mashed Cauliflower, as directed.

    For the filling, melt the butter in saute pan set over medium high heat. Once the butter starts to melt, add the onion and cook until translucent.

    Next add in the carrots and mushrooms and saute just until they begin to take on color, approximately 3 to 4 minutes.

    Add the ground beef, salt and pepper and cook until the beef is browned and cooked through.

    Add the tomato paste, chicken broth, Worcestershire and stir to combine.

    Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer slowly 10 to 12 minutes or until the sauce is thickened slightly.

    Add the peas to the beef mixture and spread evenly into serving dishes. Top each serving with the warm Green Giant(R) Mashed Cauliflower.
