  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients; add whipping cream, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.

    Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface and knead 10 to 12 times.

    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a biscuit cutter or the mouth of a glass dipped in flour.

    Place on lightly greased baking sheet; brush with melted butter and bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
