  • 4 servings Minute rice
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • garlic powder
  • 2 lb. deer steak, cubed
  • oil
  • 2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 3 c. water

Directions

    Salt and pepper a 5 to 6 pound rib roast.

    Pierce roast on all sides with knife.

    Preheat oven at 375°.

    Put roast in baking pan.

    Bake for 1 hour; turn off oven.

    Do not open door!

    When ready to serve, turn oven back on and heat to 375°.

    Cook for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Roast will be crisp on the outside and rare in the middle.
