Venison Casserole

  • 1 to 2 lb. venison
  • 1/2 to 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 medium onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 2 c. tomato juice

Directions

    Cut meat into serving pieces.

    Mix together flour, salt, pepper and paprika.

    Coat meat with seasoned flour and brown on both sides in hot fat.

    Place in greased casserole dish and add the other ingredients.

    Bake at 350° for 2 hours.
