Venison Chili

Ingredients
- 2 lb. venison, cut into 1/2-inch cubes or ground
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 large red onions, chopped
- 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
- 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 c. water
- 3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
Directions

1Combine venison, ground beef and onion in a Dutch oven.

2Cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble beef.

3Drain off pan drippings.

4Stir in beans, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and chili powder.

5Bring to boil.

6Reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours or until venison is tender, adding more water as needed. Yields about 7 cups.
