- 1/2 c. beef fat (suet)
- 2 lb. ground venison
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. white pepper
- 2 Tbsp. diced chili pods
- 1 qt. water
Directions

1Fry beef fat in heavy skillet; add meat and brown.

2Add seasonings.

3Add enough water to cover meat.

4Cook slowly 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally.

5Add remaining water as needed. Serve with pinto beans.
