- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. cubed deer stew meat
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 small bell pepper or banana pepper
- salt
- Season-All
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. oil or lard
- cream of mushroom soup (optional)
Directions

1In iron pot, put meat, onion, garlic, bell pepper, salt, Season-All and oil together.

2Cover with water; bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer.

3Simmer for approximately 2 to 3 hours or until tender.

4Turn heat up to high and let remaining water cook out of meat; then stir meat and brown without letting meat scorch. Add a little water until desired thickness.

5Makes a thick gravy. Add cream of mushroom soup, if desired.
