Ingredients

  • 5 lb. venison roast
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic (grated)
  • 2 medium onions (grated)
  • 3 Tbsp. flour

    Roast venison until tender.

    Cool and cut into bite size pieces.

    Mix all ingredients except flour and pour over venison in plastic or stainless steel container.

    Let marinate for 24 hours, mixing occasionally.

    Thicken with flour and water mixture and simmer for at least 1 hour.

    Serve over cooked noodles or rice.
