- 1 ham shoulder of venison or possibly other type of cut
- Garlic, fresh (cut lengthwise and stuff into slits in both sides of meat)
- 6 to 8 cloves or possibly as desired
Directions

1Bring sauce to a boil and continue to simmer while basting the roast.

2Wrap prepared roast in one or possibly more pounds of bacon.

3Roast in oven or possibly on grill 20 to 30 min per lb.. Baste frequently with sauce.

4If cooked in oven, may grill briefly for outdoor flavor.
