- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 lb. venison stew meat
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, diced or crushed
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 c. water
- 7 or 8 potatoes
- 1 lb. carrots, cut in 1-inch
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. cold water
- bottled browning sauce (optional)
Directions

1Heat oil in skillet.

2Brown stew meat.

3Add onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, bay leaf, oregano, salt and pepper.

4Simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.

5Add potatoes and carrots.

6Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
