Venison Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. meat of your choice (roast, stew, steak)
  • onions
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • white rice or mashed potatoes

Directions

    Cut meat into pieces.

    Brown with onions, salt and pepper.

    Add water after it's browned and put to simmer for 1/2 hour or so.

    Put in roaster.

    Add 2 cans mushroom soup mixed with 1/2 can water; mix well.

    Put in 350° oven for about 1 hour or so.

    About 1/2 hour before serving, add 1 1/2 cups sour cream and mix well.

    Serve over white rice or mashed potatoes.
