Venison Stroganoff

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground lean venison
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 c. sour cream

Directions

    Saute onion and celery in butter.

    Stir in ground venison, mushrooms, seasonings and flour; saute 5 minutes.

    Add soup and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

    Cover and simmer 20 minutes more.

    Stir in sour cream.

    Heat and serve with rice or noodles.
