Ingredients
- 3 c. lukewarm water
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
- 9 to 10 c. flour
Directions

1Combine lukewarm water, sugar and yeast in bowl.

2Let stand 15 minutes.

3Add salt and oil; mix.

4Gradually add flour.

5Mix well. Knead until smooth on floured board.

6Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled.

7Punch down and let rise again.

8Cut into 3 pieces.

9Let rise again (15 minutes).
-
10Shape into long loaves and place on greased cookie sheets sprinkled with cornmeal.

11Cover with towel and let rise in warm place until doubled.

12Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350°.
