  • 5 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • margarine for greasing
  • breadcrumbs for sprinkling
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/8 tablespoons butter
  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

    Grease a small bundt pan with margarine and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Set aside.

    In a bowl beat the eggs together with the sugar until it becomes a whitish mixture.

    Add the vinegar and beat again just to incorporate.

    Finally add the flour and baking powder and stir.

    Place the dough in the baking pan and bake it for about 30 minutes. Check with a toothpick, remove from oven and loosen the cake from the pan, without unmolding.

    Immediately put all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until it begins to boil.

    Then sprinkle the cake with sauce and leave to cool inside the mold. When almost cold, unmold.
